The JUST COFFEE SERIES 2016 is a three-part event that will explore the production, distribution, and appreciation of coffee all the way from seed to cup. By looking at the world’s second most traded commodity and consumed beverage, each event will highlight issues and relationships that excite people who want to leverage the power of their thoughtful consumption. Each event promises to be a place where people who change the world will learn, network, and take action.

Coffee Routes: From Green to Roasted Bean
Break-out sessions on the Certification Spectrum, Coffee and Development, the Roasting Process
Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 6:30 am to 9:00 pm.
Coffee Appreciation: From Roasted to Retail
Break-out sessions on the Sourcing and Procurement, Coffee and Gender, Brewing and Taste.

Direct Trade coffee from the family farm of Luis Rubio, in Madriz, Nicaragua, is available for $20/bag (medium roast, beans and ground). 100% of profits will go to the Compañeros Scholarship and Teachers Professional Development Fund.
