Thanks usually to the initiative of a few highly motivated and committed individuals in a school, a university, a business, a civic organization, or a faith-based site, 90% of participants join our programs in a group of some sort. Group Leaders are the good folk who voluntarily communicate, organize and implement the experience collaboratively with Compañeros on behalf of the group.
Please read, download, or print the following documents for Group Leaders:
Compañeros participants come from a wide variety of backgrounds. From ages 13-73 years; from student, academic, professional, parent, and retired life stages; from a variety of faith and non-religious beliefs; from unskilled, unilingual first-time travelers to highly skilled, multilingual globe-trotters; and, from Canada, the United States and Europe.
What all participants share is a desire to travel more purposefully, to give hands-on service, to learn new things, to make connections with others, and to enjoy the beauty and challenges of Nicaragua. Thanks for working with us to make this experience a success for everyone.
